Super Rotalix Metal (SRM): exclusive
functions, dynamic imaging, and high
throughput
Typically used for radiographic and fluoroscopic
imaging, and cardiac and vascular angiography,
the SRM tube is ideal for dynamic imaging and
digital image processing. The SRM’s durability
and long life make it well suited for high
throughput areas like trauma centers and the
emergency room. Low noise operation enhances
patient comfort.
Additionally, Grid Controlled Fluoroscopy
(which will only work with an SRM tube),
provides superb images and an x-ray dose
reduction of 70 -80% over conventional
fluoroscopy.
Super Rotalix (SRO): high throughput,
low noise
The high speed rotating anode of the SRO tube
is another first from Philips. A smaller focal spot
provides higher resolution. Quiet operation
(virtually free of vibration) helps patients remain
relaxed during the procedure.
With a precision glass envelope, a variety of focal
spot combinations, and a range of anode angles
to match your image intensifier, the SRO provides
optimal imaging for radiographic, RF, and
conventional tomography systems.
Rotalix (RO): image consistency in
medium load applications
The RO is a low-speed tube for a wide range of
medium load conventional applications. It is
typically used in bucky tables, wall stands,
fluoroscopy, and thorax units. The RO is
available in a range of focal spots and output
combinations to match your requirements. Soft
metal lubrication of anode bearings and rapid
anode deceleration minimize noise and prolong
service life.
