    1. There are two numbers whose sum is 72. One number is twice the other. What are

    2. Mary’s father is four times as old as Mary. Five years ago he was seven times as old. How
    old is each now?
    3. Ben and Sally decided to share 32 sweets. Sally took three times as many as Ben. How
    m​any sweets did they each receive?
    4. If the sum of three consecutive numbers is 72, what is the largest number?
