Shark Marine Technologies Inc. is the undisputed leader in Diver Held Naviga on and Sonar imaging
systems for EOD, Combat Diver Naviga on systems and Rapid Beach Profiling / Rapid Environmental
Assessment systems world wide. Shark Marine also specializes in Remotely Operated Vehicles, Diver
Delivery Systems, Video Systems, Sonar Systems, Tether Management Systems and So ware
Applica ons.
Shark Marine began developing Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) se ng ourselves apart from the
compe on by crea ng fully modular systems with the ability to adapt to any task. This along with
adapta on of plas cs and composites in the vehicles construc on and an
innova ve transversal thruster arrangement, again set us apart as a leader.
In 2006, the Navigator handheld naviga on and imaging device was created. The Navigator has become
a game changer for many militaries and how they perform underwater
opera ons. The crea on of the Navigator and it’s accompanying so ware, DiveLog,
revolu onized underwater naviga on and imaging, allowing divers to see in zero visibility and know
precisely where they are, providing a whole new level of situa onal awareness.
Shark Marine products have been imitated but never replicated. With our industry leading product
quality and customer centric service we con nue to produce some of the most innova ve solu ons.
The crea on of industry firsts like the Navigator, paired with Shark Marine’s outstanding
reputa on for quality, elevated Shark Marine to where we are today; a leader in underwater
technology and supplier of solu ons to military, commercial divers, scien sts and law enforcement
around the globe.

NAVIGATOR
Many Police forces and Fire Departments also use the Navigator in
homeland security and search and recovery roles. Scien fic organiza ons
and commercial dive companies have also come to rely on the Navigator family of
products to increase capabili es and get their jobs done faster, more accurately and safer.
The Navigator was designed with the lowest possible magne c signature and tested
under STANAG 2897.

Accessories
Shark Marine’s products are mul -role pla orms and are highly modular, able to be
equipped to accomplish any mission.
All sonars are tested to meet permissible exposure limits for divers.
Surface GPS
The surface GPS can be used when
the Navigator is on the surface or as
the ini al posi on for the DNS
Naviga on and Dead Reckoning.
Pole GPS
The Pole GPS is designed for use where
the operator will be swimming on the
surface.

Accessories
RF GPS
Part of our Sub-NET communica ons system the RF GPS
provides the diver with both a GPS posi on and an RF data link
allowing posi ons sharing and communica ons with other
divers and a command vessel.

Accessories
ARIS
The Sound Metrics Aris sonar is a dual
frequency unit that provides extremely high
resolu on imagery at short ranges (5 Meters,
16 Feet)) at 3000 kHz and 15 meters (50 feet)
at 1800 kHz, and is well suited for detailed
inspec ons or target iden fica on.
Gemini
At 750 kHz the TriTech Gemini is well suited for
medium to long range searches (150 meters (492
Feet)). The wide image of the Gemini allows
this sonar to make clean mosaics. It’s small size
also makes it a perfect fit for Shark Marine’s Dive
Tablet 2.
S-type
Teledyne Blueview’s sonars have been the standard forward looking sonars on
the Navigator since its early models. The new S-Type has been developed
specifically for Shark Marine with our design input to produce the best sonar for
Search and Recovery and MCM Opera ons. The S-Type is a dual frequency unit
with 900 kHz for medium range (100 meters (328 Feet)) and 2250 kHz for short
range (10 meters (33 feet)) for detec on, loca on and target iden fica ons.
The S-Type also allows the user to select the field of view and power se ng to
prolong ba ery life and reduce signatures.

Navcam
The Navcam can capture s ll images up
to 1920 x 1080 and video up to 1280 x
720. All s lls and video are
geo-referenced and various overlays can
also be added in DiveLog.
Pinger Locator
The Pinger Locator is used to locate an
underwater pinger or blackbox. The pinger
locator will detect pingers
between 30 and 100 kHz. Shark Marine has
developed special detec on algorithms to
reduce false detec on.
Radia on Detector
The Shark Marine Radia on
Detector is a plug and play unit
designed to detect Gamma
Radia on above and below water.
Pro-MAG
The Pro-MAG is a high sensi vity
Overhauser magnetometer that can be
mounted to the Navigator to
locate objects with ferrous content at
distance greater then metal detectors.

DiveLog is the heart of many of Shark Marine’s product lines. It integrates mis-
sion planning, post processing, report genera on, naviga on, sonar control,
video, communica ons and vehicle control into one simple to use, intui ve
so ware. Un l DiveLogs introduc on operators would have to learn a different
so ware for each piece of equipment or task, greatly increasing the complexity
and chance of human error, or missing data.
DiveLog works with most standard map formats, as well as ESRI Shapefiles,
DXF files, and Google Earth .kml files. Operators can also create their own
Map files within DiveLog using satellite images, arial photography or any
drawings or images with a few known posi ons. These maps serve as
reference for the operator and can aid in the placement of routes and search
grids.
Operators can create survey grids or waypoint routes within the so ware or
import these from other mission planning so ware such as MINTACS, COIN,
HyPACK and others.
Targets can be imported from other mission planning so ware, entered
manually or marked on any ac ve screen in DiveLog. When a target is marked
in DiveLog the system calculates its exact loca on, depth and saves full resolu-
on screenshots as well as snippets of the sonar file into the target folder.

Tac cal Naviga on Screen (Tac Screen)
The Tac Screen was designed specifically for combat naviga on, to provide the
operator with cri cal informa on at a glance, such as depth, speed, heading and
current, as well as guide them along a route or to a target.
The Tac Screen works with different posi oning systems such as Doppler, or GPS
as well as advanced Dead Reckoning, using speed, heading and current
informa on to determine the best course for the diver to take while
compensa ng for dri .
