GENERAL RULES TO BE FOLLOWED FOR WRITING PROJECT

Dear Students,

Hope you all are doing well.

 All the project topics allotted are based on your syllabus covering
different aspect of subject.
 Project must be as per the format / requirements of University.
 Any change of project topic without my knowledge will not be
accepted. So please avoid selecting topic on your own and make
your project .
 There is a timeline provided in Academic Calendar for submission
of the project. So submit your project as per the timeline only.

Mail for Submission


 A proper mail should be dropped on given mail address regarding any
doubts or clarifications with respect to the project topic.
 The query and doubts regarding the project should be mailed only on:
rajputshraddha2020@gmail.com as it would be convenient for me to
address them on one mail address.
 The submission of your project should be done on the same mail address
provided above. I will accept all the mails and submission only on above
mail address to avoid any confusion.
 The subject of mail should be “Project Submission-Constitutional
Governance-I–, Semester …. Section….. Roll No……
 Example–Subject of mail for project submission shall be “Project
Submission - Constitutional Governance-I – Semester…. Section A
Roll No.20”.
 The Body of mail of submission the following must be mentioned:
 Name of Student ………………
 Semester, Section and Roll No. ……………………..
 Project Title …………………………..
Please avoid just writing PFA only and sending mail.
2. FORMAT OF PROJECT
 All project submitted for academic purpose shall strictly adhere to the
rules provided below:

 The project must be approximately 2500 words (excluding cover page,


table of content, list of abbreviations and index).

 There should be uniformity in your headings. The main heading must be


in centre. The sub-headings are to be in left side. There must be equal
line spacing after every heading; proper border for the pages; usage of
large caps and small caps wherever required. Only the first letter of the
headings is to be in capital letters.

 The main text shall be divided under different sub-headings. Different


level of headings shall be formatted as follows: ·

 Level one heading: It shall be numbered and in the center. ·

 Level two heading: It shall be left aligned and in bold letters. ·

 Level three heading: It shall be left aligned and italicized.

 Written submission shall contain a simple border. ( without any


elaborate designs)
 All submissions of the projects should be original and should not be
simultaneously considered by any other publication.

 Use of first person shall be avoided.

 Page numbering should be on the bottom of each page, either in centre


or at right side of the page.
 Citation: The citation should be in compliance with the 19th edition of
Blue book.

 Project Structure: As per the Annexure I

3. CONTENT SPECIFICATIONS:

The following content specifications must be adhered to:

Font and Size (General) - Times New Roman, 12 pts

Line Spacing (General) - 1.5 lines

Font and Size (Footnotes) - Times New Roman, 10 pts

Line Spacing (Footnotes) - Single line

Page Margins - 1 inch on all sides
