Sustainable communities are defined as towns and cities that have taken steps to remain healthy over

the long term. Sustainable communities have a strong sense of place. They have a vision that is
embraced and actively promoted by all of the key sectors of society, including businesses,
disadvantaged groups, environmentalists, civic associations, government agencies, and religious
organizations. They are places that build on their assets and dare to be innovative. These communities
value healthy ecosystems, use resources efficiently, and actively seek to retain and enhance a locally
based economy.

This definition of Sustainable communities is complete.

 Sustainable means lasting and the main goal of Sustainable communities is to seek economic
development approaches that also benefit the local environment and quality of life by using the
three basic puller (economy, environment and social community )of Sustainable development.

 The upper definition of Sustainable communities also says that Sustainable communities are
works for towns and cities life to remain healthy over the long term by promoting the key
sectors of society, including businesses, disadvantaged groups, environmentalists, civic
associations, government agencies, and religious organizations the ecosystems would be
healthy, use their resources efficiently and it can retain and enhance the economy.

environment and social community all of them are used to live a better life for human being.
