Working in Teams

Introduction
Importance of teamwork is countless. Humenbeings are constantly teaming up with each another
from the beginning of existence to tackle all kinds of problem. So,what is teamwork? A group of
people that work together to achieve a common goal is called a team. There is a significance
difference between doing a task alone and doing with a team. The ability to complete a task with
team is greater than doing it alone. Teamwork is a great way to tress down problems effectively.
A person can increase his value as well as achieve excellence if he is integrated with a team.
Quality output can be produced in an efficient way.

LO1 Understand the key features of an effective team

1.1 Describe the qualities that make a team effective
A team consist many good qualities that help pave their way to achieve their goal. Such as,

 Clear goal.
People work as a team to achieve certain goal. So, people working in a team knows their purpose
very clearly and they work together keeping that in mind.

 Creating objectives to achieve goal.

An effective team create clear objectives to achieve their goal. To achieve a certain goal a team
has to take action step by step. Creating objectives make it easy to follow the step all the way to
achieving purpose.

 Good communication between team members.

Another characteristics of an effective team is good communication. People under an effective
team always communicate with one another freely and frequently. The more they talk freely the
more they can share their problems regarding their work and as well as new ideas.
  Divergent opinions
A team has to take many steps to achieve a goal. There could be multiple ways to take down that
step. Those multiple ways could be produced among from the team members. In a team there are
members with different mind, sense, and ideas. Those different mind could produce solution that
might make it easy to achieve the team purpose. Team with divergent opinions is crative. So, the
team with diverse people and their opinion is a very good qualities of an effective team.
