Words cannot describe this act of stupidity / I can’t understand why Vanessa Redgrave would do this /
it is an awful lot of money for two people who are far from innocent / it is truly appalling*

If my memory serves me, I think I saw Miss Redgrave whining about the plight1 of the Palestine
Liberation Organisation at the Oscars about twenty-five years or so ago. At least she’s consistent.
She is strong-willed2 and independent-minded3. It’s a shame there are not more people like her.

Coming from a wealthy acting family, she is under the illusion that she can change the world to fit
her own idealism. Why are stars so disconnected from reality?
