To start off in the
top corner you see a “chrome charging station,” that contains a metal storing area so when the kids are done with their chrome book
they can place them inside the station and connect it to their charger. When the kids are using the chrome book, they will be sitting at
their desk. I then put circle tables in the back of the room for when we have discussion time, where they will be split up in groups to
discuss an article or whatever we discussed during that class. Behind the discussion tables on the wall are posters of different
cultures around the world. It contains a poster from India, China, Germany, Africa, Hawaii, Brazil, and Alaska. Culture from all over
the word is something I have always been very interested in, and I think it is very easy to forget that others live in a different way than
typical Americans do. I believe it is very important to remember how beautiful and special these other cultures are that we don’t get to
experience every single day, so I add the posters. I then added a bookshelf to store extra books. Along with a filing cabinet next to it
for my extra material. I added a few plants in the room because to me plants feel fresh and homey. I place my desk near my white
board so I am able to grab things from on top of it in case I forget, and I am also facing the kids.That is why I set up my classroom
the way I did.
