Preparatory tasks

These tasks were set at the end of Newly-Joined Teacher workshop 1. Please
compete them and bring any notes to Day 1 of workshop 2.

1. Plan, prepare and carry out a new activity back in the classroom that develops and
extends your practice with a particular aspect of classroom management.

2. Read ‘Getting started with metacognition’ and ‘Getting started with reflective practice’
from the Cambridge International website.

3. Plan at least one more follow-up task that you will implement, based on your learning
this week. Share your idea with your neighbour.
