Objectives :
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to write an informal letter.
Starter :
Students shall be asked a question – What is letter writing and their responses shall be taken. They will
also be asked – What is informal letter? – responses taken
Methodology :
Students shall be briefed about types of letters (informal & formal letter). They will be briefed that informal
letter is written to relatives, friends and family. They will be familiarize with the informal letter layout. A
sample letter shall also be shared with them for their better understanding. They will also be given letter
starting phrases (simple) and closing phrases (simple) – (onboard). They will ask to write an informal letter
on the given worksheet.
Wrap Up : Students shall be randomly asked to wrap up the session / through questions

Objectives :
By the end of this lesson, students will have better understanding of Prefixes / Preposition
and they will be able to use them in their written work when required.
Starter :
1. Students shall be asked a question – Do you know What is a Prefixes? and their responses shall be
taken. (Period – 1) A few prepositions shall be written on the board to take students response.
( Period -2)
Methodology :
Students shall be briefed about prefixes with different examples on the board. Their groups shall be
formed and Chits be distributed in each group to match the pre-fixes with the corresponding words. Later
on a worksheet shall be given to assess their understanding.
Teacher will brief students about the usage connectors and subsequently – prepositions. Their
comprehension shall be enhanced through examples on board. They will be given a paragraph with the
preposition word bank to complete it correctly. Teacher will supervise the whole process by supporting
them. A worksheet shall also be given to them to further strengthen their concepts.
Wrap Up : Students shall be randomly asked to wrap up the session / through questions
