In preparation for the SGA 2019, MHPS-TS recently held its Kick-off Meeting for the Batch 1 last June 18, 2019 at
the 25th floor Conference Room 1. Attendees compose of 12 representatives from every different
Divisions/Departments/Sections.
In this meeting, changes and improvement of the new SGA was discussed by QMS to every representative. The
new format was already approved by the top management including our President.
The SGA is an effective activity which improves the process of each group. It promotes continual improvement for
every individual and in organization as a whole. However, top management noticed that each group are trying to
show NEW improvement that is created forcedly in a short period of time which does not show good activities they
have done in ACTUAL project. With this, there are many presentations that are not clear enough to reflect its
effectiveness because of a limited period of time. In spite of lot of good collaboration with Japan in actual PJ’s, it is
highly recommended to every Divisions/Department/Sections to promote improvement from actual PJ’s with
Japan.
1. Representative presentation that will introduce main activities in recent year in each
Division/Department/Section.
2. Theme shall be initiated by Division/Department managers, organized by leader, and executed by members.
3. For selecting the theme, it is important to focus on the importance of its activity, such as items in AAP, activity
collaborated with Japan, new scope or methods of activity and being proud to other groups, in the activities in
Division/Department/Section in recent years.
4. Also, no need to follow the full QC story, but the essential points shall be considered in the presentation for easy
understanding.
From the previous evaluation criteria which include Content, Impact, Presentation and Q&A, one new item is
included. The additional item that needs to be follow by every group is the MTS Effort and MTS Idea. This helps
every group to show the originality and the concept of QC story which will gradually help the MHPS-TS as a whole.
