“MODULO CLOCK ON 75th HUNGER GAMES ARENA”
An arena is a large, enclosed, outdoor area where the Hunger Games were held each year.
Arenas were designed by the Gamemakers and a new one is built every year. It could be
anything from dense forest to an open meadow, a frozen wasteland to a scorched desert, etc.
The Gamemakers plant traps and cunning ideas into the arena, to entertain the people of
Panem. All arenas have a Cornucopia, which contains weapons, food, etc. It is also where the
tributes launch into the arena to begin the Games. Also, all the arenas have force fields around
them that will bounce back anything that hits it. Over the years a few tributes have used it as a
weapon. The arena on the 75th Hunger Games is like a clock. The 'Lightning Tree' is in the
section of the Arena which endures a lightning storm within its hour. The lightning tree
introduces (naturally, without raising the suspicions of anyone else) the element of controlled,
predictable burst of electricity in a pre-designated location, which obviously is of benefit to
Beetee. Furthermore, it is a clear and concise way for the tributes to keep track of what time it
is, even if they aren't anywhere near the section that is enduring it's 'hour'. It's the equivalent of
Big Ben striking 12.

Each of these sectors of jungle contained a different hazard that would be activated for one hour
over a twelve-hour cycle from the start of the second day. From the first sector that was
activated at midnight and heading clockwise around the arena, the sectors were as follows: The
tree lightning strike at (12), blood rainfall at (1), corrosive fog at (2), monkey mutts at (3),
mocking jabberjays at (4), ------- at (5), the monster mutt at (6), ------ at (7), ----- at (8), ------- at
(9), a sudden tsunami at (10), and sneaky crabs at (11). Tributes spent 72 hours in the arena.
Every day they experienced challenges within 12 hours in the arena, some tributes died and
some are still surviving. At the end of the third day there are only 6 tributes left in the arena.

Global hunger fell for decades, but it's rising again

There are almost 60 million more undernourished people now than in 2014.For decades
leading up to the millennium, there were record harvests, incomes rose and food prices
fell. That’s no longer the case.

In the past half decade things have been going backwards and could continue to
worsen, the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) forecasts in its annual
review of the world’s food security and nutrition.

It’s a vision it describes as “an alarming scenario”.

Reforms to global food systems could help matters, but it won’t be easy and the full
ripple effects of COVID-19 are still to be felt.
Using graphs, they can solve problem solving. Based on the report says, Since 2014,
when the incidence of undernourishment was at 8.6%, food poverty – both mild and
extreme – has “consistently increased.” It is currently at 8.9%. The number of hungry
people rose by 10 million between 2018 and 2019.
