Nausea Is stomach discomfort and the sensation of

wanting to vomit. Nausea can be a
precursor to vomiting the contents of the
stomach.
Hypertension Is another name for high blood pressure. It
can lead to severe health complications and
increase the risk of heart disease, stroke,
and sometimes death. 
Hyperlipidemia Is a medical term for abnormally high
levels of fats (lipids) in the blood. 
Palpation Is a method of feeling with the fingers or
hands during a physical examination. The
health care provider touches and feels your
body to examine the size, consistency,
texture, location, and tenderness of an
organ or body part
Cholelithiasis Is the medical name for hard deposits
(gallstones) that may form in the
gallbladder.
Cholangitis Is an inflammation of the bile duct system.
Acute pain is a type of pain that typically lasts less
than 3 to 6 months, or pain that is directly
related to soft tissue damage such as a
sprained ankle or a paper cut.
Pharmacotherapy Is the treatment of a disorder or disease
with medication.
Pharmacotherapeutic Is a branch of Pharmacology, which is
defined by Merriam-Webster as “the study
of the therapeutic uses and effects of
drugs” this is a study of beneficial and
adverse effects of drugs.
Therapy Can be an effective treatment for a host of
mental and emotional problems. 
Acute pancreatitis Means inflammation of the pancreas that
develops quickly. The main symptom is
tummy (abdominal) pain. 
Upper quadrant ultrasound Is an imaging test that used to diagnose a
wide range of medical issues safely. It is
fast and almost painless. It uses no
radiation. This test detects both routine
and dangerous conditions.
Abdominal CT This CT scan of the upper abdomen shows
a large tumor (neuroblastoma) on the
person's right side (lower left side of
 picture).
Gastroenterology Is an area of medicine that focuses on the
health of the digestive system, or the
gastrointestinal (GI) tract.
Insulin Is a hormone created by your pancreas that
controls the amount of glucose in your
bloodstream at any given moment. 
Urinary hesitancy Is when a person has trouble starting or
maintaining a urine stream. 
Pathophysiology The physiology of abnormal states
specifically : the functional changes that
accompany a particular syndrome or
disease.
Analgesics Are medicines that are used to relieve pain.
They are also known as painkillers or pain
relievers. 
Equianalgesic Dose refers to a dose that yields roughly
equivalent analgesia to the standard set-in
a given equianalgesic dose table.
Respiratory depression (Hypoventilation) is a breathing disorder
characterized by slow and ineffective
breathing.
Opioid Are a class of drugs that include the illegal
drug heroin, synthetic opioids such as
fentanyl, and pain relievers available
legally by prescription, such as oxycodone
Multidimensional pain assessment By definition consist of multiple domains,
instrument including sensory and affective qualities
of pain, temporal dimensions of pain, and
the location and bodily distribution of pain
