A sports media camp for high school students
The Carolina Sports Journalism Camp is
now accepting applications. Rising high school
juniors and seniors with an interest in sports
and media are encouraged to apply.
This camp will include instructional sessions
on sports broadcasting, sports writing, sports
photography and much, much more.
The Carolina Sports Journalism Camp will
include practice in the field and will feature vis-
iting sports reporters and sports personalities.
Students will take a behind-the-scenes tour of
UNC’s sports media facilities. They will cover
a press conference and experience what it’s like
to work on a sports media deadline.

dents accepted to the camp will be notified on
May 1, 2021.
Registration fee of $250 for in-state stu-
dents, $500 for out-of-state students, covers
all instructional sessions, plus the camp T-shirt
and water bottle.
