At the end of the lesson, the student will be able to,
 formulate claims of fact, policy and value
 use patterns and techniques of developing an argumentative claim.

 Overview
Language is vast and alive with different usage it can give different meaning in order for you to
give your ideas whether in written or in oral ways. That is why it is vital for you to learn many ways on
how to formulate language that suits in your needs. Particularly in language formation such as phrases,
sentences, and statements which are essential in your daily conversation with other people to make them
convince or persuade by you.
In this lesson you will understand the importance of properly presented claims in order to
understand each other’s point of views. This topic will teach you to engage in a communication wherein
both parties are talking their claims without imposing with forceful emotions but, instead in a peaceful
way of conversation towards clear presentation of different insights.
