Hello second grade students and families!

We have a few things going on this week I want to remind you of. As we enter the 3rd nine weeks, I
would like for everybody to study their vocabulary words and sight words for 15 minutes a night
each. Be sure to check out our task box below for a daily reminder. The vocabulary words with (*)
are words we will be using in our ELA block this week. Anna Hudspeth is our student of the week
for making all A’s on her report card! She has worked very hard this last semester. Great work on
your star behavior!
On a fun note, don’t forget about our field trip to the Discovery Center on January 22nd! Students,
please remind your grown up to send $5 by January 19th for you to attend. If you have any
questions, please reach out to me with the information provided below. I have also included the
Christiana Elementary address in case anyone needs to schedule an in-person
meeting. Let’s have a great week doing things the wildcat way!
