Different Expressions of Autumn

1
Walking on crisp fall days! We had a wonderful fall this year. Living in the
Pacific Northwest, we can sometimes get early rain in September, then all
the leaves just turn brown, but if the weather stays dry as it turns crispy and
cool, then we get beautiful color, and this year was amazing!!!
I have talken many many photos and plan to incorporate the colorful trees
into my painting this year.
How Great God is for His magnificent Earth.

I just LOVE our New England foliage. We usually set aside one of those
deep blue sky, sunny days when the leaves are at their peak and go for a
long drive.
Last year we found a small home to rent for a weekend out in the
Berkshires (allowed dogs so we brought our Nate, rest his soul); it was a
one-room schoolhouse in days gone by. Herman Melville's children went
there, I believe (we visited his house out there too, and gazed upon the
mountain configuration that was his view, and inspiration for Moby Dick.
They did sort of resemble a whale!
Otherwise, I love to rake. We'll light the chiminea to keep the chill at bay!

We dont get pretty fall foliage here. Its green, then its brown.

I would Loooove to see beautiful fall colors (aka sparkpage background) -
and maybe run thru the leaves, have a little campfire (no marshmellows
tho) and just lay outside and look at the stars and giggle.

I would hike/walk through a state park and look at all the trees and watch
the animals getting ready to hibernate.
