Essay on the topic : You don’t have to hit animals.

All living things have a right to live on this Earth but, we, very often become, totally,
insensitive to their pain, only because animals can’t speak the language of humans,
they don’t have a voice.

When God created this planet he had a specific purpose for all living things and He
did so to strike a balance in his creation. He wanted a world where harmony and
peace prevailed but Man in his greed ha recklessly been plundering the natural abode
of animals to serve his needs.

Why should we not hit animals?

Like, people, they can also feel the pain of every violence people do. Animals are

not machines because deep inside they can feel the helplessness of their situation.

Pain negatively affects the health and welfare of animals. Only the animal
experiencing the pain can know the pain's quality and intensity, and the degree of
suffering. It is harder, especially if the sufferer cannot communicate. Non-human
animals cannot report their feelings to language-using humans in the same manner as
human communication, but observation of their behaviour provides a reasonable
indication as to the extent of their pain. Just as with doctors and medics who
sometimes share no common language with their patients, the indicators of pain can
still be understood.

It is for the benefit of the people if they will stop animal cruelty. Since animals have
feelings, they also have the tendency of being fed up. Once they are sick and tired of
all your unacceptable behaviour, the animals can turn against you.

Being an animal is not easy. Animals cannot say what they want so even if they are
hurting there is nothing they can do but endure the pain. If you are someone who has
the obsession of hitting animals, what would you feel if someone will hit you the
same way? I bet you’ll be angry and frustrated because you can’t even fight back.

Whichever way we put it, there will be no enough reason for us to hurt animals. There
is nothing we can get from it.

Why people hit animals?

Because a lot of us don’t know how to love animals.

Animals are so easy to love when they are cute but it requires more patience and
understanding when they misbehave.

When an animal misbehaves, They do not understand. Animals want to be good. This
is so important, especially with dogs. Dogs want to please their owners. So when you
get a new puppy and don’t take the time to properly train him, he misbehaves because
he doesn’t know any better. You haven’t successfully communicated with him. If he
pees on the carpet, and you find it two hours later and then hit him or yell at him, he
does not understand. And now he is just a little more afraid of you than he was
yesterday.

Animals need to be cared for with understanding. They’re not perfect. It takes careful
time to properly get rid of bad behaviors. Things like yelling, hitting, can all be
detrimental to your relationship with animals. These methods all involve negative
reinforcement, where actions that result in pain/punishment are avoided. It is
frequently used in training but it shouldn’t be. the animals may understand that his
undesirable behaviors lead to punishment, he is also very aware that you are the one
punishing him. It is coming from you, not directly from his actions.

And how you act can often be misinterpreted by animal.

for example Hitting your dog might actually be interpreted as play. Your dog won’t
understand yelling as your form of obedience training, but will start to feel fear and
aggression. This can lead to more behavioral problems than you started with and it’s
frustrating for everyone involved. Your dog doesn’t want to make you mad. He
doesn’t want to misbehave out of fear or lack of understanding. And you don’t want to
feel angry with your pup. Negative reinforcement can create more problems than it can
correct.

What you can do instead?

Positive reinforcement. When an animal is rewarded for a good behavior, they are far
more likely to repeat that behavior. This is seen simply when dogs are being trained to
sit. They sit, they get a treat. They will sit faster and more often as the action is
reinforced with a reward.

This can be applied to all aspects of training. Instead of punishing a dog who pooped
in the house, reward the dog for waiting to go outside. Instead of yanking on the leash,
provide treats when the dog stops pulling and returns to your side. It may take longer
to get the results you are looking for, but you will build a better relationship with your
pet.

you need to take the time to build trust with an animal. People can be easily frustrated
with animals because the communication isn’t easy. It takes time to properly train an
animal. Taking short cuts, like hitting and yelling, won’t teach your pet the right
things. It will establish fear and mistrust in your relationship. Treat your pet with
patience and love. Try to understand why they act the way they do. Take the behaviors
you don’t like and replace them with the ones you do. Everyone will be happier for it.
