Expected Output: Reaction Paper

The students will be asked to try immersive technologies. They can have a virtual tour of a
place/museum/gallery, use AR apps of online stores like Ikea or try apps or websites that have
filters. After their own immersive experience, each student will be asked to write a brief reaction
paper discussing their experience with immersive technologies. Students can use any word
processing tool. To help them, they can answer these guide questions:

1. How did you feel while having your immersive experience?

The immersive experience was good, overall. It was like a VR experience but on a
big screen since I was using my PC.

2. Was it easy/difficult to use/navigate?

` It was hard to navigate, and I hope they had keyboard controls on how I can explore
the environment entirely. The graphics were good, it was like I was in the place itself .

3. What learnings were you able to gain while having your immersive experience ?

The learnings that I was able to extract was immersive experience gives us the
opportunity to explore the places we’ve never been, and how technology has improved
over the years.

4. What other ways can you think of where immersive technology can be used ?

This kind of technology, I think, can be applied in immersive simulations to let people
experience the same kind of chill like what people do in real life. Moreover, this technology
can be used in education, where students can simulate how to do things or apply real-life
situations. For example, immersive technology can help medical students to help them do
their things properly. Also for pilots, soldiers, etc.
