1. What made Philippines unique in terms of traditional dances?

The uniqueness of Philippines in terms of traditional dances are in the beauty

of the dance itself. The color of their cultural outfits resembles the creativeness of
the people. Moreover, the choreography of the dances represents the history of its
people, the hardships, celebrations, and dances of love in the past. Therefore, the
uniqueness of the country’s dances is in the beauty of the dance itself.

2. What is the significance of Folk dance in modern lives?

The significance of Folk dance in the present preserves the culture of our
own country. It is being passed on to the future generation to unite the people that
lives in our country.

3. How do values obtained in studying Folk dance?

Values are obtained in studying folk dance by simply watching the performers
dance, since folk dance tell stories of the past that creates life to the beautiful culture
of the Philippines.

4. As a student, how can you promote and preserve Phil. Folk dance?

Folk dances should be promoted and preserved through dancing various events
and organizing events that promotes Philippine Folk dances. Moreover, we should be
encouraging the youth to perform these dances to give them knowledge about what it is,
and why we execute these steps.
