Students in the Associate of Arts degree program may be eligible to earn technical certificates during their course of study.
Students must take ENC1101, ENC1102, and two additional writing credit courses (6 credits) to meet the College writing
requirement.
Students must take 3 credits of International/Intercultural coursework to earn the AA
For students who plan to pursue a Business-related transfer major, it is recommended that students choose a Business Elective as
their approved elective. Students may choose from any ACG*, BUL*, BRC*, CGS*, ECO*, FIN*, GEB*, MAN*, MAR*, MKA*, MNA*,
OST*, QMB*, REE*, RMI*, TAX* prefix course. It is recommended that you see an advisor to confirm your choice.
*Students who plan to take STA2023 must take the prerequisite MGF 1106 as a “Business Elective”, prior to taking STA2023.
Students who plan to take MAC1105 may instead be advised to take MAC1105C, which is a 5-credit course. Students who take
*MAC1105C must take an approved Business Elective course to satisfy the 1-credit remaining to be taken to earn the 60 required
program credits. It is recommended that you see an advisor to confirm your Math choice.
First-time-in-college students must demonstrate competency in civic literacy either through passing POS2041/ AMH2020 or
CLEP/AP.
