PART II: SERIES CONNECTION OF RESISTORS.

1) Another resistor grabbed and connected it in the circuit in series.

2) The power supply output to 120 Volts was adjusted. And the two resistance was set
R1= 20 Ω, R2 = 30 Ω.
3) The voltmeter across the resistance R1 was connected and the voltage drop V1 was
measured.
4) The voltmeter across the resistance R2 was connected and the voltage drop V2 was
measured.

5) The voltmeter across the power supply was connected (or across the two resistances)
the total voltage vtotal was measured.

6) V1+ V2 was calculated and compared to the total voltage across R1 and R2 (step 5).
7) The electric current, I was measured using the Ammeter before R1, between R1 and
R2, after R2, and the results was commented.
8) The product of 𝐼 × 𝑅1 with the value V1-9 was compared. The product of 𝐼 × 𝑅2 with the value
V2.-10 was compared.
