PART I. ESSAY

1. How helpful is the ppt to you as a student?

Microsoft PowerPoint allows us to exhibit presentations in a convenient, professional, and creative way.
The workplace is easy to use plus student-friendly; it doesn't cost anything in return for its service.
Especially that we are in our preparation for tertiary education, the higher it gets the more professional
it needs. Not to mention the possibility of working in the field where it requires presentations, it's a
future preparation for us learners. Furthermore, MS PPT allows the presentation to emerge in the Digital
Age and 21st-century education without utilizing the pen-and-paper method that eventually includes
more effort.

2. What features of MS PPT standout for you?

Transition, add effects, and the animation part is where the presentation gets unexpected and
stimulating. It gives lives to the movements of the slides. It also avoids static and steady demonstration
of ideas. However, it makes the entire presentation either visually stimulating or too extra. Remember,
too much is risky. Just make it simple but put creativity in the process while making sure everything is
united. After all, presentation is a bonus to how you present your topic.

3. When your teachers are presenting using ppt, what do you appreciate and hate with the
presentation?

I appreciate it when the teacher includes relevant pictures that make the discussion vivid and close to
reality. It brings us, students, to another dimension where it enables us to understand the lecture better.
However, I am not fond of too many slides and the overstuffing of information in a single slide. A and B
can be separated to make the discussion coherent and organized. Overstuffing doesn't make the topic
quick and sharp- perhaps confusing. Meanwhile, too many slides that almost the same as the pages of
the book don't sound efficient at all! The effort is appreciated; but I less likely get the point of having the
PPT where they can make the copy of the book and lend it to us instead.
