usage and frequency of different social media of Davao City students (which we chose as
our target audience).

We are happy you have accepted this form and offer us some of your time today. Please
fill in every question according to your preference. The following questions, to be honest,
require personal information of your social media usage and we encourage you to put your
honesty throughout. Your participation is a huge help for us to complete this activity.

of social media accounts followed by Respondents 19 and 29 respectively. Meanwhile, Respondent 14 has the lowest number of
social media accounts among 35 students. From these, we concluded that there is an unequal number of accounts per student.
Furthermore, the number of social media accounts is not directly proportional to the frequency of their usage.

response; 2-3 hours gets 7 responses (20%); 4-5 hours gets 10
responses (28.6%); 6-7 hours gets 5 responses (14.3%); 8-9
hours gets 2 responses (5.7%); 10-11 hours gets 2 responses
(5.7%); and more than 12 hours gets 9 responses (25.7%).
Therefore, majority of the respondents spent a range of 4-12
hours a day on social networking activities.

The table shows that Personal is the area of social media usage

(94.3%). Followed by Academic that has 30 responses (85.7%);
Profession/Work Social gets 26 responses (74.6%); Games gets 20 (57.1%); Leisure
Business gets 13 (37.1%); Business gets 7 (20%); and Profession/work has
Social the lowest number of responses which gets 5 (14.3%). Therefore,

students). Gmail has 11.4% (4 students.) Lastly,
Zoom gets 2.9% (1 student). Edmodo, Instagram,
and Twitter get zero response. Therefore, most of
the respondents used Messenger, Gmail, and MS
Teams in addressing academic personnel. These are
the required at the same time convenient networks
that can be used to achieve an academic intention.

The data shows that Sometimes gets the highest


number of responses that covers 40% of the total
outcome. Meanwhile Always gets 2.9% from a
single response. Therefore, 14 of our
respondents referred themselves as users who
“sometimes” share/post a particular subject on

that it has nothing to do with the frequency of their usage. An active user may or may not posting/sharing public
interest consistently regardless how frequent he uses the network; not even in what particular area he uses social
media for.
