1. a. Semantics is the study of the relationship between words and how we draw
meaning from those words.
b. Refence is a relationship between parts of language and things outside the language
(in the world)
c. Referent is the concrete object or concept that is designated by a word or
exprexxion. A referent is an object, action, state, relationship, or attribute in the
referential realm.
d. Predicate is concept (property or relation) that is attributed to a given set of
arguments in a predication
2. In my opinion, Reference is something concrete and this can be proven in the real
world. Meanwhile, sense is something that is still abstract and has no real object, so
we still have to imagine and compare it with our experiences.
