the program may not save all your recent changes correctly.

Improved accuracy of Roots Supercharger simulation at very low RPMs which

would typically produce very low boost levels.

Fixed a bug in the Spring Table (which was originally fixed in v3.5 A.017, but
must have been lost) where the Spring Force Table was showing force at seated
heights, which was incorrect, because the table is for Valve Lift, not Spring
Height

clicked
in the grid, the grid would shift all the way to the right.

------------------ Feb 24, 2007 Version 3.5 A.025 -------------------

Revised warnings in the Valve Train Dynamics screen to now show how much
pressure is required to unseat the valves. This warning should be more
clear than the previous warning that the "seat pressure could be reduced
to x.

Fixed bug where the check for seated force not being enough for potential
boost pressure was figuring this "blow off pressure wrong".

Made several refinements to printouts of reports:

- Up to 20 RPMs are now all printed without running off end of page
- Program now remembers Landscape vs Portrait better

When opening v3.3 engine files with Turbos, the program now estimates the
Turbo's Maximum Flow, CFM higher and if twin turbos, drops the Exhaust
Nozzle Diameter down to correct for a v3.3 bug fixed in v3.5, so v3.5
results are more likely to match v3.3 results.

Program now better ensures that graph scales do NOT convert back to
'Autoscaling' if you've selected Preference to have program always
remember graph scales.

Turbo Maps in enhanced version now allow for entries down to a Pressure
Ratio (PR) of 1.0. Enhanced Version Only.

Graphs.
'This button lets you force the program to graph just the current run, so that
'Multi-RPM' graphs can be made.

Program now produces more accurate cam profiles from .050" and .040" specs. This
means
the actual profile more exactly produces .050 or .040 tappet lift at the user
entered opening and closing points (or duration).

its threshold if the power loss calculated from valve toss is more
than 1%.

Program now increases the stiffness at the cam/lifter stiffness for

rocker arm and direct acting OHC valve trains.

Changed "Throttle Location" in the Roots Supercharger specs to 'Type", a

combination of Throttle Location and Basic design. The Design choices
are Standard (like in prior versions of EA Pro) and a new "Modern" design,
new for v3.5. The Modern Choice assumes that tight seals do not increase
the friction as much as prior versions and that the volumetric efficiency
is slightly better also.

Added a 'Use MM Inputs' in the Calc Menu for Carb/Throttle Body CFM Rating
when using Inches for measurement inputs.

Added new Graph command to show the line labels (Legend Titles) in larger text.
Click on Format, then Legends (graph line labels), then you have 3 choices.

open screen for the engine and component libraries. It also now has a
'Show All Files' button to simply restore all files to the list.

Added several features to deal with Valve Clash for Hemi and 4 Valve heads
in the See-Engine command which also evaluates piston-to-valve clearance.
Clash occurs when a valve enters into the valve 'curtain area' of the other
valve, for example if the intake enters into the 'curtain area' of the
exhaust valve during overlap.

Made separate Print option if See-Engine to print tabular data for piston
clearance and new 'Clash' in either 1 or 4 degree increments.

Added a new Preference for Desired 'Clash' clearance. If Clash is

less than this amount, the Clash value is displayed in Red in the
See-Engine screen.

------------------ Oct 12, 2006 Version 3.5 A.006 -------------------

Added an additional method of calculating Rocker Arm Stiffness for
Valve Train Dynamics. It is based on the amount of 'Lost Lift'
of the valve because of the valve spring force at max valve lift.

Acrobat
printout of the report to any email address. You must have Adobe Distiller as a
printer
option to do this, only available if you own the full Adobe Acrobat.

Made several refinements to the exhaust tuning for better accuracy.

Made seat timing when using .000" as the event little more accurate (bigger)
because
program actually used .0005" as the cut off point, not .000".

Now using a new Beep API feature, which beeps more reliably on more types of
computers.

Added Legend Text Size under Format menu in Graph Screen. This allows you to
display
the graph line labels in the Legend larger for better viewing, and lets you scroll
up and down through them.

Fixed bug where the Turbo Nozzle Area was not doubled when specifying twin turbos.

Program now asks to save changes to the engine file you are working on when
quitting.
