Chapter 4
This chapter presents the analysis and interpretation of data gathered from the
respondents with regard to the Relationship of Students Task to the Academic Performance in
DIASS. The discussion is based on the data and information gathered through the questionnaire

The table 1 above presents the respondents’ age. It shows that 13 (38.24%) of the
respondent are of age of 17, 20 (58.82%) of 18 and 1 (2.94%) of 19.The data shows that the

In terms of civil status 34 (100%) are single and 0% are married. It shows that all of the respondent
are single.

As indicated in table 2, 6 (17.65%) of the respondent are male and 28 (82.35 %) are
female.
As shows above, the data reveals that the majority of the respondents are female.

The graph shows that 56%, 13%, and 31% of students on the different teaching styles had

understand it. 47%, 6%, and 47% of students on the different styles had disagree, sometimes, and
agree in the impacts of I try to get the meaning of new word as I see them for the first time
respectively. 44%, 28%, and another 28% of students on the different styles had disagree,
sometimes, and agree in the impacts of I take notes during class lectures. Another 6%, 38%, 34%,
and 22% of students on the different styles had strongly disagree, disagree, sometimes, and agree
in the impacts of I can’t easily catch up some of the lessons. 6%, 31%, 44%, and 19% of students
on the different styles had strongly disagree, disagree, sometimes, and agree in the impacts of I
can easily identify what I have learned before taking the exam respectively. 22%, 22%, and 56% %
of students on the different styles had disagree, sometimes, and agree in the impacts of I don’t

The graph implies that 31%, 16%, and 53% of students on insights of the teaching styles
given by the teacher had disagree, sometimes, and agree on I need to review the lessons in order
to understand. 38%, 25%, and 38% of students on insights of the teaching styles given by the
teacher had disagree, sometimes, and agree on I understand the lecture and classroom discussion
while I am taking notes. 3%, 53%, 3%, and 41% of students on insights of the teaching styles given
by the teacher had strongly disagree, disagree, sometimes, and agree on I can learn/understand
and at the same time can familiarize the important details of the lesson while the teacher is
discussing. 53%, 16%, and 31% of students on insights of the teaching styles given by the teacher
had disagree, sometimes, and agree on I can learn problems even if the teacher gives one
example. 6%, 31%, 38%, and 25% of students on insights of the teaching styles given by the
teacher had strongly disagree, disagree, sometimes, and agree on I can’t easily understand the
lesson if the teacher gives one example respectively. 13%, 38%, 31%, and 19% of students on

The graph shows that 19%, 13%, and 69% of students on their relation with student’s task
to the academic performance indicates had disagree, sometimes, and agree on I try my best not to
be out of track on this subject. 31%, 6%, and 63% % of students on their relation with student’s
task to the academic performance had disagree, sometimes, and agree on I prioritize my
academics before else. 34%, 9%, and 56% of students on their relation with student’s task to the
academic performance indicates disagree, sometimes, and agree on I exert much effort in this
subject. 3%, 47%, 13%, and 38% of students on their relation with student’s task to the academic
performance indicates strong disagree, disagree, sometimes, and agree on I start papers and
projects as soon as are assigned. 44%, 9%, and 43% of students on their relation with student’s
task to the academic performance indicates had disagree, sometimes, and agree on I start
studying for quizzes and test at least several days before I take them . 6%, 56%, 14%, and 22% of
students on their relation with student’s task to the academic performance indicates had disagree,
