The 4 Questions to ask
yourself regarding any
vowel:
1. Is there a diacritical (accent) mark over the
vowel?

2. What letters follow the vowel?

3. Is the vowel found as a single letter or is it part


of a group?

4. What is the position of the vowel? Initial, medial,


or final?
