Message from the Chairman’s Desk

Hello everyone,

At NABARD, employee’s aspirations and organization’s goal are


an amalgamated part of the organization’s growth story. We are
striving to build the right organizational environment for you to
excel and realize your aspirations thereby achieving NABARD’s
strategic objectives. It is also imperative to understand that
Transformation has become the new normal as organizations
adapt in the face of ever-changing dynamics impacting the way
we work. It is therefore the right opportunity to transform some
of our people processes, practices, and ways of working to make
this a better place for you which is a notch ahead.

I am pleased to announce that with the above in mind, NABARD has partnered with
KPMG – a leading consulting firm to provide suggestions on revamping our critical people
processes. We have branded this path-breaking endeavor, NABVridhi that stands
for: transformation, growth, aspiring, and achievement-oriented. A more engaged
workforce coupled with a workplace that leads from the front with state-of-the-art
processes truly embodies the vision of NABARD for the future.

Project NABVridhi involves a comprehensive study of our HR practices, policies and


prevailing cultural parameters to keep our organization in alignment with the needs of
the present and those of the future. This project will include a study of our organizational
climate, structure, roles, competencies, and policies of recruitment, performance
management, leadership development, and many more. This study will in turn positively
impact our business and individual performance both in the short and long term. It will
also help in a better understanding of our strengths and areas of development.

Over the next few weeks, KPMG will reach out to you, to understand about your role,
department structure, ways of working and challenges that you might have faced or
foresee etc. I request you to be open and honest in all these discussions. Your support
plays a key role in the successful completion of the project and we expect your cooperation throughout the entire
process. Be rest assured that the data shared by you will be kept confidential, so feel free to provide your thoughts and
input. We will be utilizing various communication platforms to keep you informed about the ongoing process,
requirements and results.
