Create a speci c call-to-action on your homepage (think: “shop now” or “subscribe


now”)
Use the blog platform of your site to add recent news and press features
Collect emails so you can stay in touch with website visitors
Make sure all of your social media accounts are linked from your website… and if
you already have links added, make sure they still work!!
Make your most pro table content easily accessible on the homepage
Embed YouTube videos and/or playlists on your media page
Embed social media feeds on your home and/or contact page(s)
Add a Press Kit page (include content like your bio, press photos, and contact
information)
Make sure to give people a reason to come back (are you adding new tour dates,
updating your news posts often, creating special merch o ers?)
Add a favicon, you know, that little icon in the browser tab (on Squarespace you can
add this in the Design section under Logo & Title)
Create moving content on your homepage for visual interest (this could be a photo

slideshow or video you don’t have to have fancy automation to add visual
interest)
Share a preview of your email content and invite visitors to subscribe for more
Host a pre-sale or premiere on your website (do you have a new album, song,
product, course? Launch it exclusively on your website to help drive tra c)
Add an SEO description to your website (on Squarespace you can add this in the
marketing section under SEO)
Check your analytics to see which posts and pages are getting the most tra c… and
create more similar content
Update your bio page to include your most recent achievements
Add testimonials or reviews from your fans / press / clients
