Activate your channel’s homepage layout (click the Customize Channel button at the

top of your channel make sure you’re logged in!)
Set up the “Featured Channels” sidebar to feature your favorite channels
Add website and social media links in the About tab
Create playlists and add them to your homepage
Add a channel trailer for unsubscribed visitors
Add videos from other channels to your playlists (under a video just click “Add To”
and you can add it to one of your existing playlists or name a new playlist)
Encourage subscribes, comments, and likes with your video content, cards, or
annotations
Link to other videos on your channel with Cards (on the watch page of your video
click “Edit Video and then nd the “Cards” link to get started)
Verify your channel (it’s easy －
go to youtube.com/verify)
Link to your website in video descriptions
Make sure your channel description is up to date (you can nd this under the About
tab on your channel homepage)
Do you have a separate VEVO channel or topic channel? If so, create a new playlist,
add those videos to the playlist, and add the playlist to your homepage
Upgrade your Channel Art (Canva has a template already sized for this… it might
look large but that’s because it has to scale to t TV screens)
Reorganize the order of content on your channel homepage (click the Customize
Channel button to be able to reorder your homepage sections)
Go live! (Navigate to “Creator Studio” by clicking on your default icon at the top of
the screen and then nd “Live stream now” under “Other features.” Live videos will
automatically save to your channel once you nish)
Collaborate with other artists / businesses to create videos (cover songs, interviews)
