FEELINGS AND OPINIONS OF REMOTE LEARNING

I’d prefer remote learning to other forms of learning because of its geographical location and time
scheduling. It brings the course to the learners and not vice versa. Remote learning provides work and
sites that can be traced hence suitable for current personal and professional responsibilities such as
training skills and development. It ain’t easy to wait for problems in remote learning to be solved and
long term plan implemented. One needs to come up with solutions that can help online users to
perform short- and intermediate- term goal as they complete their assignments at hand.

One of the obstructions of remote learning is that it does not embrace the saving culture. I came to a
realization that support logistical and technical costs are too high. My recommendation is that financial
aspects should be considered for the smooth running of the program. In the learning process, I
recognize that nothing should be assumed so that are not based on definable obstacles that are tangible
to the learner’s expectations. My view is that a need assessment should be included irrespective of the
fact that it is time consuming to complete the process.

Another challenge of remote learning is instructors giving lots of assignments with expectations that
students finish them in time. My experience with this was when I was assigned lots of task to be
completed within a specific period of time. Despite me loving remote learning, I feel that the
obstructions need to be addressed to make it a conducive learning environment.
