Dear Sir/Madam, 19th June 2016 Greetings from Maharashtra Mandal RE: Ganesh Utsav 2016 For years Maharashtra Mandal, Nairobi has been celebrating Indian cultural festivals in traditional spirit and with great zeal. Our aim is appreciation and spreading awareness of our rich Indian heritage and culture, not only amongst our own younger generation but also amongst people of different cultural and religious backgrounds. Ganesh Utsav is the most significant event celebrated at the mandal every year, and not only Indians from all corners of India but also Africans visit mandal to witness the festivities. This year, Ganesh Utsav will begin on Sth September 2016 and will continue until 9th September 2016. Ganesh Visarjan will be done in the afternoon on Saturday the 11" September 2016. There will be Pooja and Aarati everyday in the morning. Evening aarati will be at 7.00 p.m. everyday, followed by ‘Mahaprasad and a variety of cultural/entertainment programs. We, the managing committee of Maharashtra Mandal, on behalf of the members and the trustees, extend our cordial invitation to you and your family and friends for pooja, aarati, darshan and mahaprasad of Ganeshji, and the cultural programs. It has been only with your kind support that all rituals and Cultural Programs of the Ganapati Festival together with all other yearly activities go on ‘smoothly and all the cultural activities can achieve a great success.
