SWOT ANALYSIS:

STRENGTHS:
In Project 3 “Verbatim Theatre” my strengths
included:
My focused and detailed Production plan for my
Presentation using google calendar to set deadlines as
well as noting completion dates of set tasks.
Using self-analysis throughout the production process
to access my development as an actor.
Documenting feedback and referenced them setting
targets.
For example, in Movement for Actors Rosie gave me
the advice to use more space in my piece and film
outside. I acknowledged this and filmed outside using
more space in the next project as well as reviewing
the difference such as improvements and struggles.

WEAKNESSES:
Uneven distribution of time over projects.
Inconsistent referral to Swot Analysis, inconsistent
setting of targets.
OPPORTUNITIES:
In Project 4 there is an opportunity to put into
practice the Verbatim techniques that I learnt through
research into the practitioners, Alecky Blythe and
Nadia Fall.
There is also an opportunity to experiment with
Massaged Verbatim and Pure Verbatim, to conclude
my personal style as a practitioner.
As an actor I can us my research into motivation and
the Stanislavskian techniques of Action, Counter-
Action and Active Analysis to build the
characterisation of the character I will portray
onstage.
Finally, there is an opportunity to explore important
themes and issues relevant today and present in the
play “Road.”

THREATS:
There is a threat that my delivery of important
themes and issues is insensitive and that I will not
portray my character accurately and therefore
disrespectfully.
There is also a threat that I will unevenly distribute
my time over the projects.
