1. Workplace and location. Make sure you are working in a risk-free environment.
2. Attire. Don’t wear uncomfortable clothes that limit the amount and movement.

4. When installing or removing hardware component, it is advisable to turn off the
computer.
5. Avoid too much exposure to the monitor screen.
6. Do not spill food or liquid on your system components.
7. Make sure the worker or the student is in healthy working condition.
8. Wear shoes with non-conductive rubber soles to help reduce the chance of being
shocked or seriously injured in an electrical current.
9. Remove jewelries when working inside any computer related equipment.
