Methodology
The methodology for data collection will be mixed methods. Students who participate in the
Black Excellence program will serve as the sample population. Assessment surveys will be
directly emailed to the student upon entry into the program and then at the end of the academic
year. Qualitative and quantitative survey questions will be asked in scaling, open-ended, and
closed-ended formats at the beginning and end of the program.
