Reflection on Beowulf

As we read the story, we became aware of a number of ideas and values that we believe
the author wishes to convey. First and foremost, good triumphs over evil. Of course, Beowulf
represents goodness in the story, while the three monsters he slays represent evil. Beowulf is a
mighty warrior from the land of the Geats in Sweden, to put it simply. He is noble, courageous,
bold, and far stronger than any other living mortal, whereas Grendel, the first monster, is a foul
marsh-dweller born of the biblical Cain's hatred. Grendel is a nightmarish creature half-beast,
half-man who appears at the most inopportune time. We can describe him as an inconsiderate
person that only thinks of himself and using violence against weaker than him. Secondly is the
fight against Grendel's mother in this battle we can describe Grendel's mother to our own mother
that who can do anything for her son, even if she dies. And the third, a fire-breathing dragon
capable of destroying an entire town with a single exhale.
We realized that in every battle we should always have one to rely on or someone that
who can help us in anything that we do. Because if we not we may lose ourselves that leads us to
death. In real life, this battle describe our fights against the thousands of words we received on
the people around us. This battle reminds us how many problems we encountered in our life. The
problems are sometimes difficult to end .In order for us to defeat the problems, we need to face
them and make a solution one by one. But we find a magic in our life that helped us to survive
the toxic life which is God. The dragon represent any decision we make in our lives. It can lead
to greedy and descruction of your plan in your life if you are not going to think twice. In the end,
every decision of yours can lead to descruction or achivements.
