“Just five more minutes, and I will get up”!! This is what I said to myself when I did
snooze my alarm all the time, and when I finally waked-up I was already late by thirty
minutes with my daily chores and also to college or office. This was my accustomed practice
when I was in college and until I understood the significance of the mornings, however I have
never looked for a change. I heard from many people saying they are not morning person and
I also have considered myself as evening person until the day I came across the book Miracle
Morning and it changed my life.
I know how difficult it is to come out of the warm and Cousy bed and customize my body to
do it. When I started this practice, I understood the seriousness of undistracted hours and it
changed everything and I became an early bird….
Thinking:
William Blake said “Think in the morning. Act in the noon. Eat in the evening. Sleep in the
night.” In this study, all 17 CEO’s interviews said they’re more productive when they started
earlier. The quiet of the morning is the best time to plan your day and knock out the tasks that
require the most thought – before anyone is up to bother you. Following to think about the
day before I began the day became my routine and I started taking a charge of the day early
in the morning.
Reading:
Jim Rohn once said “The book you don’t read won’t help”. When it comes to reading, I
prefer comprehension with speed and to get that I need deep focus. While reading in the
evening there will be always pop up and it’s very difficult to resist the urge to check your
smartphone. When I used to read in the evening it affected on my intensity of focus and
diminishing comprehension. Although I get less time to read in the morning, I have gained
deep focus in early hours.
Health:
After exhausted day at work or college will power muscles reduces its strength to motivate
ourselves to do any high resistant activity and seldom, I did workout in the evening during
my evening workout schedule. Training our mind and body we can motivate to do some
physical activity in the morning and the spike of oxytocin in our body after persistent
schedule however our body urges more oxytocin every day in the morning. And unknowingly
we develop a habit of working out in the morning.
The idea seems extreme at first but will soon prove indispensable quest to take full advantage
of your mornings. I dare you to become and early person you will be astonished by looking at
the how productive you become early in the morning.
