The rise of technology has been the main reason of adamant changes in our traditional practices and

cultural behaviours. In the past, the common habit of Filipinos before eating includes praying. But as the
time goes by, this practice is sometimes disregarded and slowly seeking its exit to our culture. Instead of
praying, people nowadays are fond of taking pictures of food before eating and posting it to different
social media outlets.

With the introduction of technological innovations, our cultural identity is starting to crumble. Our
morals and values are now influenced by these innovations and new practices are introduced. New
practices that are worthless and may seem foolish if your going to really check its natures. People are
now focused on discovering new things rather than cultivating our rich traditions and culture.
Nevertheless, we can't really attain success without giving care and attention to our culture, for our
culture is our wealth as well as our identity
