Long Term Storage

1. Use labeled bins to keep things dust free and stackable
2. Use shelves and cupboard space to keep items out of the way and your
classroom looking clutter free

3. Store expensive and/or dangerous equipment out of reach and easy access of
students, such as in a storage closet or locked cupboard
4. If something can be hung on a wall, use a command hook to utilize every inch of
space

5. Create a signout sheet for when students use expensive and/or dangerous
materials to keep track of where they are
6. Have an inventory list directly with the storage area and note where each item is
stored so that you don’t lose them
