Introduction

In this work, a series of exercises will be carried out in order to define concepts that will be very
useful to understand the process that is carried out to register the intellectual property of artists,
scientists, and inventions in Colombia to acquire the knowledge concerning unit 1 on
understanding the basics of intellectual property.

As a complement to this work, the collaborative group will choose a problem related to the
obstacles that may arise in the case of Colombian companies to register their intellectual property
and it was chosen together, to analyze the problem of excessive license processing time by the
entity in charge of registering and approving said registration.
Objetives

General Objetive

To investigate the different processes that protect intellectual property in Colombia and identify
the main obstacles when a company wants to register an intangible product.

Especific Objetives

 Make an infographic on any of the topics given in the guide without repeating it,
distributed among the members of the collaborative group.
 Choose and draw by hand, a conceptual map referring to the topic chosen by the
collaborative group that establishes the causes and consequences of said problema.
 Finally, make a video explaining the conceptual map drawn and giving two
recommendations from the student's profession, which can provide a solution to the
identified problem
