A Letter of Recommendation

To whom it may concern,

It is an honor to recommend Nihad Surname for admission to Business Administration

program at Koc University. As an Azerbaijani language teacher, I have had the
pleasure of teaching Nihad for more than ten years. Throughout these years, Nihad has
shown himself in the best manner by being very polite, attentive, responsible and
hardworking student. I have witnessed Nihad’s ability to acquire the study materials,
understand and use them in practice. He has always stood out among his peers by being
very active in course discussions. He has been one of the most competent students in
reading, writing, spoken interaction, and communication both in the classroom and
activities outside the classroom. In my observations, Nihad always works hard, puts
tremendous efforts to improve and never gives up. Nowadays, I witnessed how hard he
works to pass the exams and to get admitted to the university.
Nihad has always achieved to demonstrate exceptional skills such as, communication,
leadership and time management skills. Whenever we had some group works, Nihad has
demonstrated himself as both an excellent leader and a good team player. Furthermore,
he distinguished himself as an analytical thinker, and, moreover, demonstrated his ability
to work under pressure. In our classes, Nihad always carries out extensive research and
comes up with rather challenging pieces of reading comprehension on his own, therefore,
improving both his knowledge of the Azerbaijani language and contributing to his
personal and professional outgrowth.
In addition, I always admired Nihad’s personal characteristics. He was very friendly with
his classmates, polite with all teachers and very sociable. Moreover, Nihad was always
eager to take part in competitions at school as he was very confident with his knowledge
and persistence. Whenever facing a difficult task or situation, Nihad put even more
efforts to cope with them and, thus, always succeeded. Besides academic achievements,
he also participated at extracurricular activities.
In conclusion, I would like to highlight that, in my point of view, Nihad is a very
prosperous student with a great future. I strongly believe that he will succeed in his
undergraduate studies in Business Administration at your university due his persistence
and a great desire to learn and improve. Thus, I highly recommend Nihad for the
admission to Koc University.
