INTRO TO PROCESS MODELING SKILLS PRACTICE SOLUTIONS

In this exercise, you will create a high level diagram to describe the process flow for adding new
vehicles in the Vehicle Fleet Management (VFM) application.

Use the Process Analyst view of the Process Modeler to create and save a high level diagram
for adding new vehicles to the system. The high level diagram should adhere to the following
guidelines:

1. Create a top level folder for all Vehicle Fleet Management (VFM) application process
models and save the high level diagram in this folder. VFM All Users should have
security privileges to view the folder and VFM Admin should have security privileges as
administrators for the folder.

2. There are two actors in the process, Registrars, who add new vehicles and
Supervisors who approve, deny or request more information in order for the vehicle to be
written to the database.

3. If the Supervisor approves the vehicle addition, it is written to the database. If the
request is denied, a News post will be generated notifying the Registrar. If the
Supervisor marks the request for more information, the form will be sent back to the
Registrar to enter more details.
