CUTTING ONE FURUNOi NET “BLUE CABLE” TO MAKE TWO NAVNET “HUB ADAPTER CABLES” Furuno Blue NavNet 6-Pin to 6-Pin Cables are “Cross-Over” network cables. Whenever a “Crossover” cable is cut in two, realize that the wire color code in each new cable will be opposite when referenced to the molded connector’s pins. Network Cabling between the Hub and a NavNet Display requires “Straight” network cable connections. When making these new “Straight” cables, the wire colors, “Pin Referenced” to an RJ45 Male Connector will be either: 1-blue, 2-white, 3-black, 6-brown OR 1-black, 2-brown, 3-blue, 6-white PROCEDURE: © Check continuity on each new cable after the original is cut and use the following information for making up the connectors: (Note: The cables you ‘create will not be wired the same.
