TENDER NOTICE RFP006/2021 CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DEVELOPING AN IT GOVERNANCE

FRAMEWORK FOR BDC

1. Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced registered with PPADB Code 319 to
provide Botswana Development Corporation with services of implementing an IT Governance
framework that will give the corporation the ability to direct and control the role of information
technologies to ensure that it sustains BDC’s strategic objectives through the effective
implementation of projects, provision of high-quality services, risk management and the
optimization of resources. Preference will be given to suitably qualified and experienced citizen
owned companies.

2. Documents will be emailed to the interested bidders after paying a non-refundable fee of P560.00
from 08:00hrs to 1530hrs hrs on weekdays with effect from 29th January 2021 up until 9th February
2021. Youth registered companies will purchase the tender documents at 50%. The payment can
be deposited on the below account referencing the tender number and title.

4. The tender submission 19th February 2021 1700hrs. The submissions should be forwarded to
procurement@bdc.bw

5. Proposers should submit the documents in a zip file/folder format NOT exceeding 10MB. All
documents must be in PDF format and must be password protected. Two Password protected
folders must be submitted for Technical and Financial Bids to procurement@bdc.bw. The password
shall be unique for each folder. On receipt of bids, proposers will be provided instructions on how
to submit the related passwords to the documents.

6. Bidders may submit their queries on the RFP in writing to procurement@bdc.bw. In order to ensure
fairness and transparency, telephone enquiries regarding the tender will not be responded to. Any
communication seeking clarification will need to be received by BDC no later than 7 days before the
due date.

7. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, BDC is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender
offer, nor incur expenses in the preparation thereof.
