EXERCISE 2: MY PRIMARY SOURCE
I am Wendel Prince Kyle Menor Masilang and I born in a small and simple town of
Peñaranda, Nueva Ecija on November 3, 2000. When I was a child, I am dreaming to be a lawyer
someday because we only have a simple life just like others have in our town. My mother’s name
is Wennie Rose B. Menor. She was originally from Ilocos Norte so I know how to speak Ilokano
and also tagalog. My Father’s name is Rodeli R. Masilang and I’m proud to say that he is a
construction worker. They are the reason why I want to be successful in life because I want to
pay back all their sacrifices just to give us a better life. I have four siblings and I am the second
eldest to all of them. As a brother for my younger siblings, I want to help them on their studying
and someday when I am already successful, I want to give them the best support that I can do. I
want to give them the life that they never have. As a teenager I also have my favorite activities
and a lot of friends. I have my best friends Arvin and Jorpen, they are always there whenever I
need them. I treated them as my real siblings and my parents are also close to them. My life is
not fancy as what others have but I have a happy life because there’s a lot of people that loves
me. I have my family that I know they will never leave me. Now, my focus in life is to finish my
study and to fulfill my dream to become a lawyer. The true essence of having a good and happy
life is not all about having a luxurious thing but having a people that will always accept you no
matter who you are.

This is my primary sources because this document and picture is my authenticity of myself. This
is the evidence that I am really who I am. My birth certificate will prove that my information
about myself that I attached on my narrative is legitimate. My picture of myself will show what
am I on my childhood days. This is really important to have my primary source because this will
be my instrument to prove that everything that I said about my self is true.
