DATA SHEET

ESP SYSTEM CABLE

Centrilift electrical submersible pumping (ESP) system cable is the industry
standard for reliability and durability in challenging down-hole conditions.
Centrilift experts design and manufacture a complete line of cables specifically
for the oil and gas industry.
The Centrilift CEL cable is the best choice for extreme down-hole conditions,
featuring a special oil resistant EPDM rubber insulation for high dielectric Duralead™ CEL Flat
strength and excellent decompression resistance. The CPL cable is best
suited for cooler well conditions and features a specially formulated, rugged
polypropylene insulation for damage resistance and longer run life. Both CEL
and CPL designs employ a fatigue and corrosion resistant pure lead sheath over
the insulation for maximum flexibility and run life. The lead on both designs is
extruded on state-of-the-art equipment, using laser diameter controls for the
highest quality and consistency. These features make CEL and CPL cable ideal
for wells with high gas content or high levels of CO2 or H2S. Duralead™ CPL Flat

Centrilift employs a proprietary process to apply lead sheath directly over the
polypropylene insulation in CPL cables. For additional protection on CEL cable,
a bedding tape is used to protect the lead sheath during application of the
armor. The armor on all Centrilift cables is edge coated on all sides to provide
the industry’s best corrosion protection. CEL cable is applicable in a wide range
of temperatures from -40ºF (-40ºC) to 450ºF (232ºC) while CPL cable is rated
from -40ºF (-40ºC) to 257ºF (125ºC). CPN Round
For benign down-hole conditions, Centrilift CPN cable is the most cost effective
option. CPN cable features the best grade of polypropylene and a specially
formulated nitrile rubber jacket provides added physical protection from gas,
heat and pressure. Galvanized steel armor provides overall protection in both a
round and flat configuration. CPN cable is applicable in a temperature range
from -30°F (-34°C) to 205°F (96°C).
Centrilift also offers cables for special applications. Contact your local CPN Flat
Centrilift representative for more information.
