Suppose that you are producing apple and pear juices.

 For each liter of pear juice your net revenue is 0.5€, for each liter of apple juice it is 0.25€.
 For each liter of pear juice you need 5 pears and for each liter of apple you need 3 apples. You
have access to 20000 pears and to 21000 apples per day.
 To make a liter of either pear of apple juice your production plant requires 10 seconds. The
production plant works 24h per day.

What is the (optimal) quantity of pear and apple juices to be produced daily which maximize the profit?

A manufacturer produces pants and sports jackets.

 For materials, the manufacturer has 750m2 of cotton textile and 1000m2 of polyester.
 Every pair of pants (1 unit) needs 1m2 of cotton and 2m2 of polyester. Every jacket needs 1.5m2
of cotton and 1m2 of polyester.
 The price of the pants is fixed at $50 and the jacket, $40.

What is the number of pants and jackets that the manufacturer shall produce to maximize the profit?
