- Uncharged polar residue bind 2 mol/mol residue
- Nonpolar grps bind about-1 mol/mol residue

- The greather the no.of charged residues the grather the hydration capacity
- Hydration capacity is calculated using equation:
A= fc + 0,4fp + 0,2 fn
a is g water/g protein
fc, fp,,fn are fraction of charged, polar and non polar residues, respectively in protein.
