1. Modern life has become easier and the people of the world have to thanks to the immense
contribution of the internet technology to communication and information sharing. There is
no doubt that internet has made our life become easier and more convenient. In this
definition what are the advantages and disadvantages of the internet?

Nowaday, internet is becoming a need and not a luxury for people. It provides people
unlimited source of information, data, and entertainment. It’s like the internet has It all. It makes
communication from one country to another through internet. It keeps people entertained through
the vast entertainment industry it provides. However, with these pros that were mentioned, it has
also its counter effects. Internet can damage a person through hacking, bypassing, and physhing.
There is no security in the internet. There is no even privacy in the internet which is scary to think
of. Plus, most data in the internet are false but surprisingly, a lot of people believe it. The world is
becoming more and more dependent to the internet, which maybe, on the latter future, we would
prefer to stay in this virtual world and leave the reality of our lives.

2. In your opinion? Do you think the internet is bad for young people?

Since young people are vulnerable and most likely to be exposed with the dark side on
the internet, it can harm the youth’s cognitive and emotional aspect. This is of course harmful if
the youth will allow it to harm them. Therefore, proper orientation should be given to the youth in
order for them to handle their use of the Internet and not the other way around.
